Colossalcon Safetalk is a system designed to allow attendees of Colossalcon and Colossalcon East to safely and annoymously report security incidents and code of conduct violations. You can fill out the form located on Report an Incident or you may text (832) 678 - 7233 with your concerns. (Msg and Data rates may apply for Text).
We have a dedicated team of staffers that will be monitoring the system throughout the convention. All concerns will be directed to appropriate heads of staff and/or law enforcement if applicable.
Locate an Colossalcon security taskforce member (typically a staffer wearing a security shirt/vest and has a security badge) and they will assist you in filing a report. If you CANNOT find security, please find a convention staffer, or go to Con Operations.
Colossalcon East Security Office is located across from the restrooms at the far end of the convention center near the traffic loop. You can find a security staffer there to handle any security-related concerns in-person.
Colossalcon East Con Operations can be found directly across from the large spiral staircase and glowing tree, as well as Artist Alley immediately entering the convention center from the hotel area. You can address any issues to Con Operations staff as well, or they can contact a higher level staff member, such as our Con Chair, Victoria, to help you.
You can address your feedback on our new system in a few ways:
1.) Attend our Feedback Panel on Sunday at 4:00pm in Events 3.
2.) Give your feedback online after the convention via our Colossalcon Facebook Page. We will create a feedback thread there.
3.) Head over to Con Ops / Con Operations and let them know what you think!
4.) Immediate concerns regarding the functionality of the system can be addressed to Bobbi (our systems admin). You can also give your feedback and suggestions to her as well and she will share them with the staff team.
